Low Energy House

modern design

new build

rural setting

low energy

This new build low energy home is to be located on the periphery of the historical conservation village of Fintry, near Stirling. The site is a large south facing plot with amazing views of the Finry Hills. This 1.5 storey house will enjoy a semi-rural setting and will feature a natural slate roof, white render and timber cladding. Large windows and rooflights coupled with five pitched roof dormers will result in a home that is spacious, full of natural light with the primary spaces benefiting from large amounts of solar gain.

An excellent thermal envelope coupled with solar thermal panels and a ground source heat pump will guarantee this home is comfortable whilst reducing housold energy bills.
